BB Cream Review

My Thoughts on 3 Different "BB Creams"

The first "BB Cream" is from Pixi.

This product is available at Target.  It costs around $30, so I do not consider it to be drugstore. The name of it is "Tint & Conceal". While it is not labeled a "BB cream", but rather a tinted mositerizer, I find that it does more than any "BB Cream" (that I have tried) promises to do. I do not have a swatch of it because I am out at the moment. However, I can tell you that I have repurchased this product at least three times. It covers like a foundation and definitely conceals. While it doesn't give a full coverage it is all I ever need in the summer and I do not have perfect skin by any means. I also have oily skin and it never makes my skin oily throughout the day. All in all I love this product and will purchase it again when spring rolls around. The only reason I don't wear it in the winter much is because I need more coverage because I am very pale.

The next one is L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream

(What a long name!)

This product promises to prime, perfect, hydrate, & correct. Today was my first day using this product. You can find it at any drug store, Walmart, or Target. It is around $7.50 at Walmart. First I will tell you that it does NOT hydrate nor perfect. It does prime but there is not coverage and so I recommend using it solely as a prime before your foundation. This does not even qualify as a tinted moisturizer. It does come out white and is suppose to turn into " your perfect shade ". It really just turns into the same shade for mostly everyone. The irritating part about it is that the little beads that hold the color make it feel "gritty". It does slightly correct in that the little color it did give off, took away some of my redness.  Overall, it did not make my face oily today when I wore it and I did love it as a primer under my foundation. I will have to let you know if I repurchase it.

The last "BB Cream" is also from L'Oreal and it is the "Youth Code BB Cream"

This product can be purchased at drug store as well as Walmart and Target. It is around $12 at Walmart. This product claims to give you overall healthier looking skin in one week, perfects, moisturizes, illuminates, evens skin tone, protects skins, improves tone and texture, and its good for oily skin. WOW, that's a lot to promise.Unfortunately, they do not deliver.  I have oily skin and this stuff made it even oilier within a few hours, if that long. It does even your skin tone and gives you moisture, but if your like me its too much. It does not illuminate except when I was illuminating oiliness. It protects because it has SPF 15. I did use it for a while to see if it made a difference in my skin tone and texture and I did not notice a difference. Its probably been about 6 months since I purchased it and I have over half a tube left. I do not see myself repurchasing this again, however people with more dry skin tones would probably love this as a tinted moisturizer for a quick look.It does go on smoothly and blends reasonably.

I am just starting out, as this is my first blog. Please let me know if there is anything in particular you would like me to blog about, and also if any of you would like me to start a youtube channel.
